Yes, any of the 510 threaded atomizers and cartomizers will fit the eGo, as well as those that are made for the eGo. Many of the new cartomizers are great and are probably worth a try. Thanks for visiting!

I have an eGo that I purchased last summer. The atomizer is now getting so hot it burns my fingers and I get no vapor from it at all. I know I have to replace it but I am not sure if I should get another atomizer or go with a cartomizer. Will the 510 fit the eGo?

One of the biggest issues with the tanks is that they sometimes don’t deliver enough e-liquid to the atomizer, usually because that little wick in the center is not pulled up through the tube far enough. Bad juice can certainly do it, too. You can also use any of the wide variety of 510 compatible cartomizers and atomizers that are available as well. Thanks for visiting!

Thanks for sharing your experience and glad to hear electronic cigarettes are helping you quit! As I’ve mentioned in some posts, finding the ecig at Walmart has undoubtedly helped people who would otherwise not have heard of them, and your story is a great example. Filling your cartridges is a great way to save some money and there is a wonderful variety of e-liquids available. Have fun trying them!

As far as I know, the Fifty-One Duo is a re-branded E9 or KR808D-2 model, so you can look for compatible cartomizers like these from Vapor Kings. Please note that the 2 in KR808D-2 is important, as there is also a more common KR808D-1 that is not compatible. Glad we can help and thanks for visiting!

Congratulations on your success so far. Filling cartomizers can be accomplished with a syringe or by using the cap fill method. More on that can be found in my Cartomizer Filling article. As for replacement cartomizers, from what I have found, the KR808D-2 (the 2 being an important number here) cartomizers like these from Vapor Kings should be compatible and at a much lower price.

A few years ago when I attempted tp quit analogs I purchased a greensmoke starter kit along with an extra battery and a bunch of cartomizers. I enjoyed vaping but went back to analogs. Now I’ve quit analogs again, this time for good. It has been about a month now and I had enough cartomizers left to get me through these first weeks. Now I want to continue vaping but I don’t want to reinvent the wheel here nor do I want to spend unnecessarily. My batteries work fine. Can I purchase the juice of my choice and drip it (with a syringe, I presume) into my old cartomizers? If so how long can I reuse them and where is a place to find inexpensive empty cartos? I am not opposed to buying a new system but it seems like it should be unnecessary. Am I correct in these assumptions? Advice? Thanks!

Hi Guys,

Would you happen to know what kind of battery the Fifty-one Duo is. Trying to find cartos for it without having to go to them. By the way…. I just got an ego 900. I absolutely Love it!!!! But my Fifty-one still works Great! (Just wish I could get my hands on the Chocolate & Vanilla cartomizers they started with)

I had switched to these from the Ego-T type B tanks. I bought 2 at the time and really liked them good vapor and flavor. but after about 2-3 days it went south. flavor tasted horrible. was having a hard draw, as well as little to no vapor.

Maybe i got a faulty one or the juice had gone bad ( Got a new bottle from a friend who had said he left it in his car all day. (temps get over 110 F here)

Not sure if it was the juice that destroyed the dual coil or a combination of both. but last week i tossed out the old one and have been using the new one with the E-Juice that i bought and i have had no problems what so ever.

As for battery’s I’m using an Ego 510 1000Mah 3.7V battery and its lasting me all day.

Must say all in all i like them despite either bad juice or fault carto.

I am 50 years old. I have been a smoker since I was 13. My smoking got out of hand and I was smoking over 2 packs a day. Almost 2 months ago I was told about electronic cigarettes at Walmart so I decided what the heck I’ll try it. I have tried numerous other times to just quit cold turkey and wasn’t successful with it. At first, when I purchased my starter kit, I was still smoking my regular cigarettes cutting back as much as I could. I have done some online research to find the cheapest method of using the ecigs as I could and discovered that the cartridges I was getting at the store, even tho they say they are not, Are refillable so I found a place online that sells ejuice and began ordering it. I would suggest ordering something with a little bit of flavor rather than just plain tobacco as it helps in completely quitting. I have finally stopped regular cigarettes they just started tasting nasty as apposed to the flavor of my ecig. Hoping now I will feel better. Good Luck with your venture with this it’s a great choice for people that can’t do it any other way.
