[See also Spikey&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/vapersforum.com\/showthread.php?t=7\" target=\"_blank\">Different Models thread<\/a> on VF and\/or Elendil\u2019s ECF <a href=\"http:\/\/www.e-cigarette-forum.com\/forum\/ecf-library\/66629-updated-pictures-most-common-e-cig-models.html\" target=\"_blank\">photo thread<\/a>.]<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" id=\"ncode_imageresizer_container_18\" src=\"http:\/\/i562.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss67\/DonDaBoomVape\/WWV%20adds\/rangeofe-cigs.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Starting from the bottom of this photo:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Most prospective vapers initially are attracted to an e-cig the same size or a bit smaller than the one at the very bottom of the above photo \u2013 the \u201c<strong>Super-Mini<\/strong>,\u201d e.g., Joye306\/306a, M402\/403, or\u00a0RN4081.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The next one up is a Janty Stick (one of the \u201c<strong>Mods<\/strong>\u201d).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The next three are the \u201c<strong>Minis<\/strong>\u201d (the most popular category of e-cig and recommended for most new vapers):<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>The third from the bottom is currently the most popular e-cig (among forums&#8217; members) \u2013 the Joye510, voted <a href=\"http:\/\/vapyawards.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Best Starter Kit<\/a> in last year&#8217;s Vapy Awards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>My<\/strong> first e-cig is the fourth one from the bottom (the silver &amp; red one) \u2013 the KR808D-1 (another excellent choice), hereinafter to be abbreviated <a href=\"http:\/\/www.e-cigarette-forum.com\/forum\/general-e-smoking-discussion\/57146-pronouncement-kr808d-1-kr8-pronounced-kreight.html\" target=\"_blank\">Kr8<\/a>, pronounced Kreight.<\/li>\n<li>Above that is the DSE901, one of the very first, and still very popular, models (and once was\u00a0Leaford\u2019s recommendation for a new vaper).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Next (the one with the bulge) is the Screwdriver, the first manufactured Mod.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Above that is an e-cigar, which along with the e-pipe, were the first models to look like something other than a cigarette.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>My personal favorite, and one of the classics, is that long white model second from the top: the DSE801, one of the \u201c<strong>Penstyles<\/strong>\u201d (looks kind of like a ciggy in an old-fashioned cigarette holder).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>That monster at the very top is an early version of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.puresmoker.com\/category_s\/65.htm&amp;Click=9312\" target=\"_blank\">Prodigy<\/a> (another of the &#8220;Mods&#8221;). [My first impression (and perhaps yours) of that and the other Mods was: <em>weird <\/em>looking (one ECF member described them as \u201cscary\u201d). And yet I and many others swear by them. My guess, however, is that you are not yet ready for those.]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That was merely an introductory overview. Still interested?
