The Cartomizers<\/h4>\n<p>If you want the <strong>simplest, most convenient<\/strong> e-cig (which is the same size as a Mini), consider the <strong>cartomizers<\/strong>: the two-part e-cig using an integrated cartridge and atomizer. You just screw on a pre-filled cartomizer and vape. No juice dripping or cart filling required (although you may want to do so to save money \u2013 those cartomizers can get expensive).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"screwing in a Kr8 cartomizer\" src=\"http:\/\/i562.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss67\/DonDaBoomVape\/Contest%20Review\/screwinginaKr8cartomizer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"381\" height=\"212\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Because of their advantages, during 2010, cartomizers also have become available for e-cigs with 510 or RN4081 fittings (discussed further below). There are three different cartomizer-<em>dedicated <\/em>models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> The <strong>KR808D-1<\/strong> (abbreviated by some of us as <strong>Kr8<\/strong>, pronounced: <em>Kreight!<\/em>) is the most common &#8230; and, in 2009, grew dramatically in popularity and a great number of flavor choices and nicotine levels became available. Its 280 mAh standard battery delivers more puffs per battery charge than any e-cig its size (tie with the much longer Penstyle, but short of a Fat Batt or Mod) &#8230; and it is the <strong>only <\/strong>true 3.<strong>7<\/strong>V non-mod PV. Kr8 cartomizers deliver strong flavor and throat hit and adequate vapor. [NOTE: My personal experience is different from most; I find that the flavor has an unpleasant undertaste and the cartomizer can get hot. I love that Kr8 battery, however.]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Kr8 CigEasy\" src=\"http:\/\/i562.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss67\/DonDaBoomVape\/WWV%20adds\/Kr8CigEasy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"363\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The new advanced cartomizers \u2013 Vapor4Life&#8217;s <em><a href=\"http:\/\/store.vapor4life.com\/Premium_Vapor_King_Electronic_Cigarette_Cartomizers_s\/45.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Premium<\/a> <\/em>and <a href=\"http:\/\/store.vapor4life.com\/The_NEW_WOW_Vapor_Cartomizers_s\/48.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><em>WOW Vapor<\/em><\/a> (i.e., Premium cartos filled with better-tasting e-liquid), VaporNine&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=185681&amp;amp;u=467811&amp;amp;m=22598&amp;amp;urllink=&amp;amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Turbo<\/em><\/a>, CigEasy&#8217;s<em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cigeasy.com\/category_s\/24.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Gold Label Deluxe<\/a><\/em>, and especially BloogPlanet&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/bloogplanet.com\/cartridges.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>MaxX Fusion<\/em><\/a> \u2013  are far superior in flavor and, especially, vapor &#8230; and IMO are definitely worth the slightly higher cost.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Some Kr8 batteries have 5 second cutoffs, others 10-second. They are available as automatic or manual switch (I prefer the auto), in three sizes: <strong>shorty <\/strong>(180 mAh, only stocked by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.altsmoke.com\/?ref=196\" target=\"_blank\">Vapor4Life<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/bloogplanet.com\/batteries.html\" target=\"_blank\">BloogPlanet<\/a>), <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.litecigusa.net\/product_p\/808dbat.htm\" target=\"_blank\">regular<\/a><\/strong> (280 mAh), and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shop.goodprophets.com\/product.sc?productId=90&amp;categoryId=21\" target=\"_blank\">XL<\/a><\/strong> (380mAh). You know what happened the last time I talked  about these colors! <\/span>\ud83d\ude2e<span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"> Don\u2019t worry; limit of one song per installment.  (There should be an emoticon for <em>\u201cWhew!\u201d<\/em>)]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Because of the greater length of the standard Kr8 battery, its PCC, shown below, is of a different design than most others. [That&#8217;s the expression: &#8220;not to be confused with,&#8221; but it <strong>is <\/strong>confusing! The GreenCig cartomizer is longer than the Kr8\u2019s, but the battery is shorter. Total size: slightly shorter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"GreenCig G220 black and white\" src=\"http:\/\/shop.nhaler.com\/images\/g220-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"273\" height=\"266\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">You might want to consider ordering some of the GreenCig cartomizers (which also work well the Kr8 automatic battery, but require an adapter for Kr8 manual batteries) to check it out. Those cartomizers cost about 50% more than Kr8 cartos, but they they hold more e-liquid. They have a tighter draw and very little throat hit, but more vapor and, to me, they have a smoother, more pleasant taste. The E9 cartomizer is the same size as the Kr8; it normally is sold with a shorter battery. In 2009, Leaford ranked this device #1, because of its unparalleled vapor production, while acknowledging its diminished flavor and throat hit. [Since then, he has injected its positive attributes into Vapor4Life&#8217;s advanced cartos.]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"E9s\" src=\"http:\/\/i562.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss67\/DonDaBoomVape\/WWV%20adds\/E9s.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"353\" height=\"305\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">E9 batteries and cartomizers are not compatible with Kr8 parts, although  I understand that some of those brands have switched over. It\u2019s  confusing.\u2020 LeCig carries both the Kr8 (their D1) and the E9 (their D<strong>2<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/lecig.com\/D2refillcartomizers.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">cartomizers<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/lecig.com\/rechargeablebatteries.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">batteries<\/a>). LeCig is the only moderately-priced supplier I know of (NHaler no longer carries the E9), although other  companies&#8217; cartomizers are priced competitively with GreenCig carts  (and I&#8217;ve read good things about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getvapure.com\/default\/accessories\/cartridges.html?SID=ea8a158f00b2a3a3aef7dcd4ba6fd820\" target=\"_blank\">Vapure<\/a>&#8216;s).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2020 Lots of confusion with these cartomizer thingies.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inlineimg\" title=\"Confused\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vapersforum.com\/images\/smilies\/confused.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/> It&#8217;s ironic, because the devices themselves are so simple to use.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\">Here is FieldOfVapor&#8217;s not very positive review of the E9 from Green Smoke:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"425\" height=\"350\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/JaNnpSEtz8Y\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"425\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/JaNnpSEtz8Y\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>The <em>Other <\/em>Cartomizers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">During 2010, cartomizers have become available for the <strong>510 <\/strong>(both 510 batteries and mod and fat batt fittings for 510 attys)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"510 cartomizer\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bestecig.com\/webedit\/uploadfile\/20100708033005428.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"396\" height=\"92\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8230;and for the <strong>RN4081\/DSE103<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"RN4081 carto\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aquavaporcig.com\/assets\/images\/classic_rn4081ecigcartomizer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"163\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These days, most 510 suppliers carry 510 cartomizers. Suppliers of RN4081\/DSE103 cartos include <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.goodprophets.com\/product.sc?productId=142&amp;categoryId=34\" target=\"_blank\">Good Prophets<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aquavaporcig.com\/5-Pre-filled-Cartomizers-for-Classic-RN4081_p_89.html\" target=\"_blank\">AquaVapor<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aquavaporcig.com\/5-Pre-filled-Cartomizers-for-Classic-RN4081_p_89.html\" target=\"_blank\">AZ Smoke Free<\/a>. Reviews have generally been positive and they are becoming quite popular. The Cartomizers<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you want the <strong>simplest, easiest to use<\/strong> e-cig (which is the same size as a Mini) and <strong>more puffs per battery charge<\/strong> (tie with the Penstyle, but short of a Mod), consider the <strong>cartomizers<\/strong>:  the two-part e-cig using an integrated cartridge and atomizer. You just  screw on a pre-filled cartomizer and vape. No juice dripping or cart  filling required (although you may want to do so to save money \u2013 those  cartomizers can get expensive). There are three different models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>KR808D-1<\/strong> (abbreviated <strong>Kr8<\/strong>, prounounced:  Kreight!) is the most common and has been growing dramatically in  popularity and a great number of flavor choices and nicotine levels have  become available. [NOTE: My personal experience is different from most; I  find that the flavor has an unpleasant undertaste and the  mouthpiece\/cart\/atomizer can get hot. And to make matters worse, ElectronicCigarettesInc sells a <strong>510<\/strong> that it calls &#8220;Vapor King.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/shop.nhaler.com\/category.sc?categoryId=25\" target=\"_blank\">NHaler<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/lecig.com\/GreenCig-Cartomizers.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">LeCig<\/a> also carry the somewhat similar <strong>GreenCig<\/strong>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.nhaler.com\/product.sc?productId=2&amp;categoryId=25\" target=\"_blank\">starter kit<\/a> for which is much more expensive (I\u2019m not sure why). The GreenCig  cartomizer is longer than the Kr8\u2019s, but the battery is shorter. Total  size: slightly shorter. You might want to consider ordering some of the  GreenCig cartomizers (which also work well the Kr8 automatic battery,  but require an adapter for Kr8 manual batteries) to check it out. Those  carts cost about 50% more than Kr9 carts, but they last twice as long.  They produce very little throat hit, but much more vapor and, to me,  they have a smoother, more pleasant taste. Unlike their country cousins,  color choices are limited to <strong>black <\/strong>or <strong><span style=\"color: white;\">white <\/span><\/strong>\u2026 or black <strong>and <\/strong>white. Shown at bottom is the very expensive <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.nhaler.com\/product.sc?productId=1&amp;categoryId=25\" target=\"_blank\">deluxe kit<\/a>, which includes an elegant looking PCC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"tcattdimgresizer\" src=\"http:\/\/i562.photobucket.com\/albums\/ss67\/DonDaBoomVape\/WWV%20adds\/GreenCig.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The cartomizer model most frequently mass marketed on the Internet and sold in malls is the <strong>E9<\/strong>, under such brand names as Green Smoke<strong>*<\/strong>,  Smoke51 DUO, Vapure, KR808D-2, Red Dragon, Loong Totem, Bloog, and  ePuffer. The E9 cartomizer is the same size as the Kr8; it normally is  sold with a shorter battery. Leaford ranks this device #1, because of  its unparalleled vapor production, while acknowledging its diminished  flavor and throat hit. E9 batteries and cartomizers are not compatible  with Kr8 parts, although I understand that some of those brands have  switched over. It\u2019s confusing.<strong>\u2020<\/strong> LeCig carries both the Kr8 (their D1) and the E9 (their D<strong>2<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/lecig.com\/D2refillcartomizers.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">cartomizers<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/lecig.com\/rechargeablebatteries.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">batteries<\/a>), as does <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.nhaler.com\/category.sc?categoryId=24\" target=\"_blank\">NHaler<\/a> (simply KR808D-1 and E9). They are the only moderately-priced suppliers I know of, although the <em>cartomizers <\/em>are priced competitively with GreenCig carts (and I&#8217;ve read good things about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getvapure.com\/default\/accessories\/cartridges.html?SID=ea8a158f00b2a3a3aef7dcd4ba6fd820\" target=\"_blank\">Vapure&#8217;s<\/a>.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>*<\/strong> Not to be confused<strong>\u2020<\/strong> with Green<strong>Cig<\/strong>.
