The FDA has apparently agreed to comply with court rulings and regulate electronic cigarettes as tobacco products. Check out the ABC news story here. This is good news for vapers. If we are forced to be subject to some sort of regulation, which we inevitably will be, classifying ecigs as tobacco products is the lesser of two evils. The alternative of regulating the personal vaporizer as a drug delivery device would force most vendors to close their doors. It remains to be seen just how the FDA hopes to control the industry, but this is a good start.
