Last year Don gave us a great review of the 801 Fusion cartomizer from Ikenvape. He loved them, but I never got around to trying them… until now. I recently picked up a few to try out and have been using one for the past week on a VMAX with a 801-510 adapter. Isaac has mentioned that he is working on a 510 threaded version of the Fusion, but for now the adapter works perfectly.
All I have to say is that these are probably the best cartomizers I’ve tried. The flavor and vapor production are excellent and they perform fantastic at a wide range of voltages. The 2.6ohm Fusion performs well at around 4 volts, but doesn’t taste harsh or burnt at 5 volts either. Just a lot warmer. They don’t seem real susceptible to burning dry, as flavor seems to drop off long before they are dry. Running them at higher voltages does consume a lot of e-liquid, though, so I find myself topping off rather frequently with about 10 drops.
